Excellent Doctor!
Dr. Purcell has done a fabulous job informing me of why my body is storing fat instead of burning it. I am feeling great and have lots of energy.

so very encouraging!!
I have struggled all my life with weight issues. My parents took me to Dr when I was 8 years old for my weight and I was put on diet pills. Then Nutrasystems, Weight Watchers, Atkins Diet....the list goes on. Dr Purcell looks at the chemistry of it all. With medications and nutrition counseling and lots of encouragement I am down almost 40 lbs. I can even go and have a bad couple of days food wise and not see the scales jump up 5 lbs. i feel my metabolism is more normal and so hopeful for a slimmer future, Thank you Dr. Purcell and staff

Dr, Purcell explains the biochemistry behind weight gain and how I can control and lose weight, gain strength and improve my health. Jessica Ryan, Diet counselor extrordinaire, helps me figure out how to adapt eating habits to good patterns. She has good suggestions on how to add protein and leave sugary things out of the picture.

Dr Purcell has saved my life.
Coming to this provider has allowed me to get off insulin, lose weight and learn about my disorder. She is the only doctor that I have seen to actually make a difference in my life. I think that she is ahead of her peers. I would not be where I am today with out seeing Dr Purcell. She has not only given me back my life and my health but she saved my life. There are no words to describe how thankful I am, that I am a patient of hers and the clinic.

Excellent explanation of relationship of body fat to insulin resistance, high triglycerides, glucose levels, etc., and reducing carb intake to reduce body fat. I have seen excellent results by following her advice.

Beyond my expectations!
I had really given up on the thought I could ever lose a significant amount of weight. For years my goal has been to maintain an unhealthy me without sliding farther down (or up) the scale. 62 lbs in 4 1/2 months and I have eaten more than I have in years. Thank you, thank you! Exceptional healthcare that treats the whole person.
Dr. Purcell has helped me to solve an obesity issue I have had my entire life. With her background in biochemistry she has managed to change my health all for the better. I have lost 31 lbs. in five months. i feel happy, healthy and energized. My high blood pressure is gone, my A1C is lower, my BMI is lower, I feel fantastic.

Incredible support on my journey to fitness and health!
Dr. Purcell is great. She understands the body is a system and how it works. She works proactively with me to manage my weight loss and uses tools available to apply science, be it medicines, working with a nutritionist, or my exercise approach. Maybe more importantly, she's helped me understand my weight loss which is much more than just loosing pounds and being good most days. Dr. Purcell is great to work with and I can't recommend her highly enough!

Empowering, Effective, Positive. This program helped me get myself back again.
I am especially grateful for the education Dr. Purcell provided me about how my body works and why it responds they way it does. As a result, I don't have to rely on my willpower to force something to happen. I can now rely on my wisdom because I have the information I need to make smart decisions about my body and what I put in it and what I do with it.

This place ROCKS!!!!
Dr Purcell and her staff have been awesome in cheering me on and making sure I am comfortable with my program. I know I'm solely responsible and accountable for my progress, but they are always on my side providing me with options, alternatives, and resources. Even the not so positive feedback is positive because it keeps me going. I would not have been able to lose the 73 pounds without their help.

Life Changing
I came here after my primary care doctor and I discussed surgery for weight loss. I was skeptical but willing to give it a try. Nine months later, I've lost over 50 pounds, 37 of that is pure fat. I have a long way to go but with the support and encouragement I get from everyone here, I know I'll get there and never go back again.
