It's been an amazing journey so far!
My experience with Dr. Purcell has been amazing! She is on the cutting edge of weight loss medicine and has a deep understanding of how your body is working and reacting to the treatment. She is very motivating and is very easy to talk to and explains things in a clear and easy to understand manner. I've saw other doctors for weight management, but Dr. Purcell has truly been the one to help me be successful at changing my lifestyle and losing weight!

Truly life changing....
Dr. Purcell is the first doctor I have worked with that helps me understand exactly how I can improve my health, and I know she is in this for the long run with me. She teaches me and encourages me every step of the way. I am over the negative self talk that I will gain weight back and go back to my old self. I know I am on a forever path to improving and maintaining good health.

Dr Purcell MD and her staff at Capitol Diabetes are MY Angels!
I weighed 194 lbs and my A1C was never at 7.6 before. It was always high around 10 and even 14 one time! Ive lost 25 lbs.and my new A1C is 7.6. I call Dr Purcell, Jessica her nutritionist nurse my angels. Her medical assistant Maggie is a gem along with the front desk staff Amanda and Stephanie. Everyone in this Dr office is so supportive and friendly with contagious positive attitudes. I highly recommend Capitol Diabetes and Weight loss Center to all potential clients.
They are literally helping me save my life!

Dr. Purcell is Olympia's top Internal Medicine Doctors. She has been my primary care provider for the past three years and I've learned exactly what makes a great primary care provider. I have family history for cardiovascular disease and diabetes and what I appreciate the most about Dr. Purcell is that she teaches me about proper nutrition, work life balance, and how all of these factors play a key role in my overall health. Recently, my company informed me that I may have to relocate and I was happy to learn on my most recent visit with Dr. Purcell that she's exploring Telemedicine opportunities (e.g. mobile app / video based appointments). Dr. Purcell is energetic, caring, intelligent, and innovative so if you are looking for a provider that helps you establish accountability in a fun way, then she an ideal fit.

It Feels Like A Miracle!! I have lost 46 lbs, my A1C is down, I feel great! Before I worked so hard with no results!

She is VERY patient oriented and drives for success.

Dr. Purcell is full of encouragement and support! She has changed my quality of life, I can finally enjoy it!!
I had a low self esteem until I decided to reach out to Dr. Purcell and get help. She is by far the best doctor I have ever seen in my entire life. She listens to me and my concerns, and we work together for solutions. Her personality and encouraging nature makes you want to see her every week. I finally believe in myself again, because she believed in me first!
I had no energy, no motivation and no smile. Dr. Purcell has walked beside me every step of this journey and encouraged me to keep pushing forward.
I climbed my first mountain at 44 years old a few weeks ago, I have energy and lifestyle tools for ongoing success in my fitness journey because of the tools and resources she has given me.
I guess the best part about this doctor above everything else, is that she helped me see the person hiding inside of myself, a strong, beautiful person with lot's of life to live.

My experience today was AWESOME...
I love coming to see Dr. Purcell. I am starting to have a true understanding about my body and where I need to be to be healthy. I am thankful for Dr. Purcell's honesty and guidance. The entire staff is supportive and kind. I would recommend Dr. Purcell to anyone. If you are looking for for diabetic care, weight-loss management and overall general health care needs this is the place to be.
