Life-changing
Dr. Mulvaney saved my life. This is not an exaggeration; this is a fact. I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and when I came to Dr. Mulvaney, I was ready to die. I had been in constant, unrelenting, excruciating pain for months. My cervical spine wouldn't stay in place, causing my right arm to be numb and my TMJ to flare up. I was seeing a PT who specialized in EDS, and they couldn't provide me with 5 minutes of relief. They'd realign my spine, but within 5 minutes, it was back out of place. It looked like a spinal fusion with EDS neurosurgeon was the only option, but even he didn't seem confident. I was lost. I was in pain. I was ready to die. But then Dr. Mulvaney and prolotherapy entered my life. He said it would take 3 treatments to see improvements, but he thought it could work...After the 1st, I experienced my FIRST temporary RELIEF of pain in MONTHS- I FINALLY had HOPE again! After the 3rd, it is no longer a punishment to be alive! I am actually HAPPY! I feel on top of the world!!

This procedure allowed me to feel normal again.
Dr. Mulvaney and his staff are all professional and caring. The process to be seen was non-intrusive regarding the cause of the symptoms and focused on treating the symptoms. I spent years trying to adjust my life around my PTSD symptoms, often with unsuccessful results. Immediately following my SGB I felt a tremendous relief. I have slept soundly every day since my procedure. When confronted with unwanted or unpleasant memories, I can now see them for what they are, and it does not spin into a situation that dominates my mind, emotions, and personal relationships.

My experience was amazing.
Dr. Mulvaney and team provided me with excellent medical care from start to finish. The procedure was not bad at all (COVID Test was way worse) and provided relief from symptoms almost instantaneously.

Life Altering
As a former Navy SEAL, Dr. Mulvaney understands what prolonged exposure to combat trauma does to the human body. His methods and techniques absolutely provide relief of PTSD symptoms, relief that cannot be duplicated at any MTF. He pioneered the procedure and the effectiveness has only grown. An SGB procedure from Dr. Mulvaney absolutely changed my life, and has allowed me to begin to enjoy my life again.

Profound improvement, immediately.
It was clear from the moment that I met with Dr. Mulvaney that although he treats the body, he is very focused on the the emotional improvement that occurs with the SGB treatment. I cannot thank him and his staff enough for the gift that they have given. Many of my combat veteran brothers and sisters are losing their lives to PTSD. SGB treatment performed by Dr. Mulvaney changes everything.

Amazing!
I felt comfortable every step of the way, informative, attentive and understanding.
Highly recommend this procedure, I felt confident I was calm and relaxed the majority of the time, this procedure brought new light to a level of calm and lack of anxiety I didn't recognize I had.

Best Practice I've Ever Been To
I've got many health conditions which causes me to see many providers. Regenerative Orthopedics and Sports Medicine of Annapolis has to be the nicest and most thorough practice I've ever been to. Dr. Mulvaney was kind, had extreme attention to detail, was precise, and made the Stella Ganglion Block treatment easy and painless. I would recommend this practice and this procedure to anyone dealing with Post Traumatic Stress. The immediate relief and sense of calmness I've felt already has been a huge burden off my shoulders. Please consider this practice and ask them questions about the procedure. They will guide you every step of the way.

Wonderful experience that I would tell others to do
The provider explained everything that would happen and why. He also kept me informed on what was happening and asked permission to proceed forward each and every step of the process. He was very personal and created a bond to aid in the treatment process.

Necessary
All members were extremely professional. Dr Mulvaney explained step by step instructions throughout the procedure. I was surprised by the results, feeling calm, relaxed and less agitated in life. For any SEAL's or SOF members that need help regarding PTSD please reach out for treatment.

Wish I'd Known About This Years Ago
With over 2,100 procedures to date, I personally wouldn't trust anyone besides Dr. Mulvaney to do a SGB. In addition to his technical and clinical expertise, he completely put me at ease before, during, and after this painless procedure. Admitting you have symptoms of PTS is difficult, seeking help is difficult, and deciding to go the route of allowing someone to stick a needle in your neck is even more difficult. Please believe me when I say this procedure is worth it and, from what I can tell so far, will change my life for the better, as well as the lives of those with whom I have relationships. Dr. Mulvaney is an absolute professional who works miracles on daily basis.

The SGB was an underestimated and highly needed procedure given by Dr. Mulvaney
As a military spouse of a soldier with PTSD that has been treated with SGB, Dr Mulvaney realized that we as spouses could also be struggling on the home front. Before coming into the office, I assumed that I was a stressful person, living a stressful life. What I didn't realize, was that I too was being affected by PTSD. The treatment was effective immediately. I left Dr. Mulvaney's office with a feeling of hope and relaxation. Dr. Mulvaney hit the nail on the head with SGB treatment on military spouses; it is an underutilized treatment and topic of discussion. Thank you Dr Mulvaney for your kind heart and hard work!

This is worth it
This is my second SGB treatment with Dr. Mulvaney. I was good for about three months after my first treatment, but the stress started to build and my symptoms came back. I called Dr. Mulvaney's office just to get his thoughts and Ms. Kim just booked me an appointment on the spot since she knew what he'd say. Having to come back and get a second treatment, or multiple treatments, doesn't mean that SGB doesn't work. It just might take multiple treatments for it to work for you. Either way, it's well worth it. I'll come back 100x if that's how many treatments it takes. Dr. Mulvaney and his staff are second to none and they care about this treatment and most importantly, they care about their patients and helping them live the best lives that they possibly can.

very professional and caring about his patient
this is my second time. as a pilot who had to stop flying due to memory issues and balance issues as well as experiencing tumbling sensations and having to pass over the controls due to My traumatic brain injury and PTSD I sustained as a infantry squad leader. I am very thankful for this shot. It works. My first time was going very until I was triggered by some emotional baggage. It worked for two months and was very helpful. I now know to not eat right after, wait about 6 hours and you should be good to swallow without any problems if you are a big guy like me. And I will do my best to stay away from triggers with emotional baggage. like x wives. I now also don't feel the need to use my cane anymore. I still get dizzy but not as bad as it was. very good news for me. Thank you Dr Mulvaney and thank you Peggy and NIck from Operation First Response for helping me to get these shots. I feel good, not 100 percent but motivated now and peaceful. my shoulders feel light. Thank you

Definitely positive, I am in a much better place.
I am a former special operator, career law enforcement officer and paramedic who has seen and experienced too many critical incidents over the course of 40+years. Additionally, I lost my SpecOps son to suicide, which pushed me beyond my previous ability to cope with trauma. I needed help with growing anxiety, stress, anger and loss of emotional control that was affecting sleep, memory, concentration and my ability to enjoy life. The pre-brief before the procedure was clear and spot on. The procedure was not uncomfortable or painful...it resulted in an almost immediate release of stress and evolved into a sense of calm and state of relaxation. I would recommend two visits to receive treatment on both sides to achieve maximum effect. So very glad I connected with Dr. Mulvaney and experienced this treatment. SGB has given me hope and reset my course into a positive direction...HooYah!

This changed my life!
As a Firefighter Paramedic, former SOF member in the military and also works with the SWAT teams. I was skeptical. A Navy Seal friend called me the day I was at the end of my rope with what I thought no other options. I came to visit Dr. Mulvaney and he spent so much time with me. He explained the procedure and was so patient with me as he knew I was anxious. The procedure was amazing. Afterwards, I had a huge emotional release and he walked me through that process and guided me. This man is one of the best doctors I have ever been to. He is so different and actually gives a crap about helping people. I cannot express enough to any military members, EMS, Police, people who have been abused or just have trauma resulting in PTSD. Don't be too prideful, don't be afraid! Take your life back and come see Dr. Mulvaney. I can tell you that I am a different person walking out of here 2 days later, then when I walked in. Amazing!
Dr. Mulvaney was awesome. He explained every part of the procedure as it progressed, and was full of guidance and humor in handling my SGB. I would recommend this procedure, and Dr. Mulvaney, to any paramedic or veteran who is looking for help. Life Changer
Working in the EMS field, some of us see and experience things that keep us up at night. After working as a paramedic for 14 years, I developed severe PTSD. The SGB shot gave me a reboot, and helped me to once again sleep and enjoy life. I recommend this to anyone suffering with PTSD.

Brought back from the ledge.
I have been dealing with PTSD from my time spent overseas for the military for 10 years. I have tried everything every medication, drinking, to drugs, to meditation, to yoga, to years of CPT therapy. Nothing has addressed the years of trauma and tension that my body has stored up. I felt like there was nothing else i could do, an unending cycle that needed to be broken. I couldn't turn off. After receiving my SGB, i feel like i can turn off, i can rest. It feels like taking that first breathe after taking off the kit from a long mission. I no longer feel like I'm standing at the edge.

feels as if their is hope to relax.
was worried prior to this visit. The doctor sat with me, talked with me and explained everything. The doctors process helped to calm down and trust was established. After the injection I felt calmer and constant care and attention was still provided.

This was more than I could have ever hoped for.
I have struggled with finding mental/physical peace for some time now. After the Ganglion Block procedure I immediately felt relief from the massive anxiety, panic and hyper-vigilance I have had for years. life changing
as a former special operations veteran myself im grateful to have Dr Mulvaney as the care giver for this treatment. It made me feel very secure knowing his background and the level of dedication to perfecting his craft. Every other person whos recommended him to me along with this treatment spoke so highly of him and i cant agree more. My experience during this treatment was so comfortable, i felt so cared for and respected. The entire process from start to finish was very simple, the procedure took like five minutes and the effects are absolutely incredible. i truly think this treatment has already changed my life and the effects will continue top help me grow. i believe if ANYONE who suffers from trauma or anxiety could benefit from having this done.

Beautiful peace and clarity
Dr. Mulvaney and his staff were incredible, my best experience with any doctor and staff. I felt very cared for, that I was in great hands, and everything went so well. The procedure both days was easy, painless, and afterwards there was a calmness and mental clearness that I had not experienced in the 12 years since my trauma incident. I'm a physician who performs SGB for PTSD, and asked Dr. Mulvaney to treat me
I'm a physician from far away who also performs stellate ganglion blockade (SGB) for Post Traumatic Stress Injury. I took a long flight to see Dr. Mulvaney for my SGB block. Dr. Mulvaney is a world authority on the use of SGB for PTSI. He has published key research on this topic, and has taught many other physicians in the technique. More importantly, he truly cares about the outcomes his treatment produces. He is a kind, humble soul with skilled hands. His staff Kim and Nancy are also great!

Excellent, mission complete. SGB works for me, got the results I need.
My experience with Dr. Mulvaney and his SGB procedure provided the results needed to help me get my life back.
My PCL-5 dramatically improved from 74 to 41 after 15 months! If or when I need another boost get me through my traumatic memories that may be creeping back into damaging my daily life, I know where I can go to get recalibrated.
Also, Dr. Mulvaney's bedside manner in explaining and conducting the procedure gave me further confidence in Dr. Mulvaney & made the whole experience comfortable.

Incredibly helpful to my overall well-being
The level of care and compassion Dr. Mulvaney has for all his patient's individual well-being surpassed any of my expectations. I had the opportunity to have the Right and Left SGB injection and the results and impact were immediate to my overall health and mental well-being. Dr. Mulvaney explained thoroughly everything about the procedure before and during the actual injection. His bed side manner is top-notch personable and professional. He really cares which is important to me while dealing with such difficult and delicate hardships in life. I am starting to feel most of the world could benefit from this experience
From the moment we stepped in the office, Dr. Mulvaney made us feel like we were his #1 priority. He took extra steps to fit in my wife and I as quickly as possible and made us feel comfotable and safe before, during and after. His ability to explain the treatment and what we would experience went above and beyond what I expected to feel from most doctors. He truly cares. His work is truly transforming peoples lives. You can feel it from the moment you call in to the moment you leaving having expereienced an SGB treatment. As I mentioned in the summary, I am starting to think most of the world could benefit from this treatment. Exceptional Service and Healing!
I had gone to another doctor where I was diagnosed with a meniscus tear on the right knee and was in considerable pain. This doctor basically wanted me take Advil and right away suggested surgery.
I'm an active person - I ski in the winter and hang glide in the summer. I needed my knee to be well enough to do these activities. I did some research and found Dr. Mulvaney.
Met with him and he understood my goals and was very attentive to my needs. I had 2 PRP treatments on the knee this past fall/early winter that within 3 weeks after my 2nd treatment - I was skiing again!
I highly recommend Dr. Mulvaney. He truly wants whats best for you and helps you to retain your health goals.

Freeing!
Dr. Mulvaney was clear, concise, and so helpful during this process. I was nervous and concerned about the procedure, but he walked me through every step.
