Dr, Haines is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and caring.
I researched all over the US to find the right doctor. With one misstep, my spinal stenosis could have had an unimaginably horrible outcome. Realistically, I just didn't want to lose more function. Due to Dr. Haines' expertise, I actually regained function in my hands and feet! And he was so thorough prior to surgery. He said that there should be no surprises in the OR. Any other doctor I ruled out did not do the research on my physiology that Dr. Haines did. What an incredible surgeon. I went into this with some fear, but his groundwork ensured the most successful outcome.

I am extremely pleased.
Dr. Haines is a wonderful surgeon. I have been in extreme pain for at least 10 years. I had consults with other surgeons and was told there was nothing they could do for me. Dr. Haines told me at my consult that he could get me out of pain. I felt comfortable and very trusting with him. Today is 3 weeks since my surgery and I am very pleased.
I can say tears weld up in my eyes after my surgery and I took my first steps in my hospital room - virtually pain free!!! Dr. Haines is a God send:) He truly has a gift. I am grateful to him for giving me my life back.

Dr. Haines is a one of a kind surgeon. He is an exceptional listener and will take the time to explain suitable options. I felt that I was in competent and caring hands pre and post surgery.

Such a wonderful doctor!!!!!!
Dr. Haines was able to diagnose my issue with 1 visit. He performed a spinal fusion on my lumbar spine and within 4 months from having the surgery I feel better than I have in years. Truly an amazing Dr, wish I would have found him a few years ago!!!

The best choice that i could have ever made for my neck.
DR. Haineshey and the staff are very professional. They answer any and all of my questions. I put my trust in him and his staff. the result was really great. I'm two weeks out and starting to see god results. I wish that I would have made this choice in 2013 when I first got injured.I was able to call and ask questions after the surgery. I would recommend any and all people to be under his care due to the willingness to communicate, great work and great results. It really was the best choice I have ever made for my neck. Thank you so much Dr. Hains and everyone involved in my improved way of life.

Absolute best! Thorough, Caring, Empathetic and a human genius!
The level of care and attention I get every time when I see Dr. Haines leaves me very emotional! This man is an Angel and my superman! His staff from the Physician Assistants to the MAs and the front desk are exceptional in customer service. Never have I had such a team work this wonderful to make a patients life better. My two cervical fusions were done at VSI and I am very thankful and grateful that the quality of my life is now so much better. Thank you eternally!!

Life-changing solution to chronic pain and spinal cord risk
I saw Dr. Haines based on a recommendation from a colleague and am so glad I did. This hybrid surgery solved nerve pain issues I had been living with for years and corrected a structural risk to my spinal cord to set me up for the rest of my life. I cannot say enough good things about my experience.

amazing doctor
Dr. Haines is one of the best doctors I have ever had. He listened to everything i had to say and helped me figure out exactly what the problem was. He really cares about his patients and feels like an ally. He gave clear direction of what I should do and what the exact problem was. He did an amazing job on my disc replacement and fusion and i feel great after my surgery. Best Dr ever!

I had a great experience
I had a great experience with Dr. Haines as he helped me with my herniated disk. He took time to explain to me what is my diagnosis , the process to fix it and listen to my questions. I did go to another doctor just to get a second opinion but I felt more confident and comfortable with Dr. Haines. I would recommend his practice to anyone who will need this kind of surgery.

I got my life back; an extraordinary turnaround in my quality of life.
A superb surgery. So many things could go wrong with such a complicated surgical intervention, and none did. What Dr. Haines and his PAs told me would happen, over time, did happen. I am ecstatic about the results of this surgery. i have crawled out of a dark hole and emerged again. Bravo to Dr. Haines and his great team: all of them so thoughtful, focused, and expert.

Accurate diagnosis, exceptional surgical results, and clear explanations.
Diagnosis was accurate, and his confidence in the conclusiveness of the symptoms allowed me to avoid a painful diagnostic discography procedure. This saved weeks of time in getting to the surgical treatment. Dr. Haines was able to implant the spacer for the fusion, as well as stabilizing screws & brace, without cutting any muscle. This allowed rapid recovery and being off of narcotics in days after surgery.

I fixed! After nearly two decades of recurring lower back pain I am pain free!
Dr. Haines and the staff at VSI have been wonderful. Provided clear and understandable details and expectations for all available treatment options and listened to my concerns. We selected a path forward and for the first time in nearly 2 decades I am pain free, no longer do I deal with daily lower back pain!

Dr. Haines repaired my herniated disc and all my pain is gone.
Fantastic experience! I was in severe back pain and it was revealed I had a major herniated disc. Dr Haines recommended surgery and within two weeks all my pain was gone and my normal activity was nearly resumed. I expect a full recovery. Everyone at VSI was incredibly professional and helpful. I am extremely pleased with my service - and thank you Dr. Haines!

Excellent experience overall
Dr Haines is an awesome doctor and surgeon, from the first few minutes I spent with him in his office I knew I wanted him to be my doctor. He listened to me, took as much time as I needed to talk through my diagnosis and treatment options, explored as many options possible before ultimately going with surgery and the entire time I felt 100% comfortable with him and his team. Dr Haines made it so easy through the entire process and I am very happy he is my surgeon. I can't recommend him or his practice highly enough.

Compassionate, friendly and positive
Dr. Haines is the best. He is so compassionate and actually listens to his patients. He does not push surgery, gives you all options for care and lets you decide your path of care. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
