Returned me to my athletic self!
Dr Haines is an amazing doctor. I originally came to him for a second opinion and quickly change my mind for him to be my surgeon. He took the time to talk to me and under stand my specific situation and how best to correct my pain. I am now living spine pain free!

was able to help when no one else could
After a year and a half of experiencing debilitating back pain, and going to multiple physical therapists, pain specialists, orthopedic surgeons, and other specialists, no one was able to give me a clear diagnosis or effectively treat my pain. Thankfully I found Dr. Haines. He gave me testing that resulted in a clear diagnosis and developed a treatment plan that actually worked. He is compassionate, professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly skilled. If anyone is suffering from back pain, I cannot recommend a physician more highly than Dr. Haines. He has given my body what it needed to heal so I could have my life back.

Absolutely changed my life!
Dr. Haines was able to accurately diagnose my pain within 5 minutes of meeting him. He said he could help me when no one else could. I'm forever grateful for his care and helping me get my quality of life back. To know that I was in agony when I first met him to where I am now is mind blowing. Thank you for you doing what you do! it was an amazing experience!
Dr. Haines is an excellent surgeon. He did a very complicated cervical decompression surgery on me, and I couldn't be happier with the results. He is also one of the most personable doctors I've ever had, so my overall experience was wonderful.

Pain free for the first time in over a decade!!
Dr. Haines provided an entire team approach to resolving my complex back damage. I have zero regrets on my decision to have a three level fusion. At three months I am back to doing all the things I did before. DR. Haines was innovative in his approach and the results are fantastic!!

Feeling better than I have in two years!
I had suffered from neck pain and migraines for close to two years. Dr. Haines is the first doctor who took the time to truly listen and find an accurate diagnosis. I really appreciated his kindness, attention to detail, and how he tried to avoid surgery. Even though I ultimately had the surgery, I couldn't be happier with my results. I am feeling better than I have in two years!

Absolutely the kind of care and solutions I was hoping for!
After years of lower back pain Dr.Haines and the VSI team gave me the total collaborative care I neded and was looking for. The hospital staff and Dr. Haines VSI team and Physical Therapy team all worked closely together to monitor my progress before and after my surgery. As a result of this teaming effort I am pain free 5 weeks after a 3 level fusion!!!!

Dr. Haines has made a very complex, potentially overwhelming procedure positive, understandable, and successful!ul!
Excellent care and responsiveness in all regards. Dr. Haines performed my ACDF surgery the night the Nationals beat the Brewers in the Wild Card play in game in 2019. In our post-op conversation, we predicted they would win it all. He was right on target with that one as well! I am thankful for the support and care I have been given.

I had an incredibly successful surgical outcome with Dr. Haines.
Dr. Haines quickly escalated my need for cervical surgery to preserve my spinal cord and prevent further slippage of the vertebrae. He fully explained the procedure to me and my family, and we are all pleased with the outcome at post-op.

Genuine Care
Dr. Haines and the entire team at VSI & VTFC are world class. An old cervical disk injury had me facing a possible surgical resolution. But Dr. Haines and his entire team did a wonderful job of getting my nerve and neck pain (which was completely debilitating at it's peak) back under control and stable enough to avoid invasive procedures. I trust their knowledge, their expertise and value his genuine desire to help patients achieve a pain free life long term. A HUGE thank you to Dr. Haines and all!

This is the ONE medical practice overall that I've had a great experience with.
All of VSI personnel are very professional and welcoming in the way they treat their patients. Dr. Haines takes his time to explain the injury, treatments available, ways to mitigate the pain and provides several options of treatment to the patient. I wished I had the surgery earlier. The pain, numbness, and tingling have all but disappeared six months after surgery. I couldn't be happier with the results!

Pain Free!
I had been to a few other doctors that tried to help me with my back pain, he was the only one that was able to work with my insurance to get my surgery approved and did an amazing job! Two years after surgery and I am pain free and loving life again!

He is professional, personable, and very experienced in my case
Diagnosed decayed disk condition between L5 and S1, did a spinal fusion and everything went perfect, except the blood clot that I got about three weeks later which had everything to do with the procedure, but little or nothing to do with the provider.One year later I remain very pleased with this provider.

Dr. Haines delivered on everything he promised!
Dr. Haines and his staff were highly professional, very accommodating and provided clear explanations of the procedures. He was willing to spend as much time as necessary to answer my questions until I was comfortable.

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience. From the minute I entered the office till the moment I was escorted to the front desk; courteous, professional and so very competent! Dr. Hainse, the PA's, Medical Assistants, all were so very kind, respective, courteous, even dealing with my unfound anxiety. I would HIGHLY recommend this practice to anyone who might need their expertise!

A wonderful caring surgeon
When I first saw Dr. Haines for a lower back problem, he immediately saw that the back problem could be treated with therapy but that I badly needed surgery on my neck. I've been free from pain for two years now.
