Had treatment for knee and hip problems
Dr. Payne did an x-ray on knee previously and determined I had previous surgery in which I was told they only took bone out of my knee to fix my Talis bone that was shattered., in fact they took cartilage. I was not aware of this at all,
He then x-rayed my hip and I had bursitis, I have been getting steroid shots in my knee and hip every 3 months and they really have so much. I have been diagnosed with arthritis as well.

Dr. Payne is a ROCKSTAR##
Dr. Payne is great! I got in to see him fast, after being in pain for amost a month on my right shoulder. Diagnoses was clear, concise and he answered my questions clearly and cheerfully. Getting "older" is truly "different", but it's a relief to know Doc Payne is there to see me through!!

Great Doctor,
Took time to listen to my knee problems, gave me an injection to help relieve pain. Advised if not better come back in a few weeks and he will re-evaluate the problem. Was recommend to him by some friend so glad I went to him. Great doctor.

My care has been outstanding!
I began have serious knee problems and injections and therapy were no longer adequate to address the pain. Both knees were bone on bone with arthritis. Dr Payne explained the options, risks and expectations with TKR for both knees. I asked about doing both knees at the same time and thankfully he told me he would not only not recommend that, but he would not perform the surgery. I am so glad I followed his advice. We ended up replacing the left knee first and then 6 weeks later the right knee. It gave me time to heal and gain some needed strength in the first knee which is needed in order to get up and down and walk. I am still in PT and gaining strength and mobility everyday. It is not without pain but Dr Payne was very clear about what to expect and the time it would take to recover. I am now 9 weeks out on the first knee and have very little pain in that knee. I am only 3 weeks out on the right knee and it is still tender but does not hurt as much as it did before surgery.

Dr. Payne was my surgeon for my first hip replacement. The experience went so well that there is no one else I will consider for future treatment. I will drive as many miles as necessary to keep him as my surgeon.
