i would recommend dr. murphy and her staff in a blink of the eye! I found her office staff welcoming and proffessional. Doctor Murphy takes the time to listen and understand and treat you as a person.

She solicits input and listens carefully. Dr Murphy relates well with the patient. Suggestions are made pleasantly with further explanation as needed. Appointments are made so that there is very little wait time.

cataract removal made all the difference in the world
Dr Murphy was knowledgable with the macular hole issue that preceded the cataract formation- in fact she was the one who diagnosed the hole and recommended the retina specialist who did that surgery. Dr. Murphy's follow up through that ordeal and the subsequent cataract removal was consistently well explained, thorough, and expeditious despite the COVID restrictions in place at the time. I would recommend her to anyone needing an opthalmologist.

Makes everything easier to understand
Dr. Murphy and her staff are friendly and takes the time to explain everything that is being done. My visits have been so great I referred my sister and friends. No complaints. Will be continuing my yearly appointments to keep my eyes healthy, since I'm diabetic.

Very happy to see without glasses after cataracts removed
I had cataracts removed in both eyes and am very pleased with Dr. Murphy. I have terrific vision in both eyes after my post eye consultation and love the ability to see clearly without glasses!

It was an amazing journey back to being able to see better than I have since childhood!
Dr. Murphy made me feel comfortable in proceeding with cataract surgery on both eyes. She took the time to explain everything and did thorough examinations on my eyes. I felt very secure and certain that my result would be good. They were actually amazing and I am thankful to have had her take care of me.

very positive! She listened and was able to alleviated my concerns regarding eye problems. Also, learned that I had issue with annasteia (sp) on first eye and eliminated problem on second cataract surgery! Wonderful results.

I can see clearly, for once in my life, without glasses!
I have worn glasses since I was 9 years old. Within a hour after cataract surgery I could see great. I had almost no down time, too. Also the staff at Tucson Surgery Center was caring and attentive. I whole heartedly recommend Dr. Murphy if you are in need of this surgery. It has been a fabulous success!

Very pleased with her be very thorough examination.
I will refer all my friends and family to her. I am so pleased and blessed to have chosen her to take care of my visual needs. I forgot how clear the world looks and now everything is so bright and clear. Never felt any pain after surgery both times I had to go in for surgery. Great job.

Genius! Eyesight is better than ever!
Dr. Murphy was meticulous in her exam on my eyes. The first surgery on my left eye yesterday was a success. I can now see my computer screen clearly! I call it miraculous compared to what my vision was in that eye only two days ago.

Outstanding Cataract Surgeon
I did extensive research on Tucson ophthalmologists before I decided Dr Murphy would be my cataract surgeon. She communicated extremely well and I felt very confident going into the surgery. Prior to surgery, I was very near-sighted and post surgery I'm 20/20 in both eyes and glasses free! The entire experience from beginning to end was wonderful and I would highly recommend Dr. Murphy and her staff.
