Excellent Doctor! A Keeper!
Dr. Murphy was wonderful. I couldn't believe her kindness and caring over and above my eye issues. I have a very bad back and need a special brace as well as position for surgery. Dr Murphy went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable during my surgery, using extra things to make me comfortable.
Her office staff was wonderful, very polite and friendly, willing to help. They changed one of my appts, when I needed a different day, no questions asked!
I would recommend Dr Murphy to anyone. You won't be disappointed if you decide to go there;.

very happy with new vision
Dr. Murphy performed cataract surgery on both eyes and I am thrilled with results. She spent a lot of time explaining the difference between mono-vision lenses and blended vision lenses, and why blended vision would be a better choice for me. I like that she asked about my career, lifestyle, and activities when assessing my vision. The staff is also very friendly and efficient. Convenient midtown office location and I never spent an inordinate amount of time waiting in office.

Best Ever!
Dr Murphy is kind, considerate, willing to listen closely, and brilliant. I have never experienced such a world class, worry-free and reassuring medical experience in my life. It is hard to imagine anyone delivering a better more wholesome medical experience than Dr Murphy and her team. Thank you!

Best Doc experience in years
I have had a wonderful experience from 1st visit to post surgical follow-up. Dr. Murphy made my surgery day a non-stressful situation, along with her office staff and the surgery center she chooses to use.

Pleasant experience

Absolutely wonderful!
After nearly 70 years of wearing glasses or contact lenses, after surgery I can see to drive and read perfectly. It was a painless experience and the whole surgery was swift and efficient. The staff at the hospital was wonderful and Dr. Murphy was highly competent.

The Best!
Dr. Murphy has my very highest recommendation as an opthalmologist! She is personable, friendly, approachable and attentive to one's individual needs. She makes herself available to answer all your questions to your complete satisfaction. She has excellent training credentials and has been in practice long enough to develop a high level of experience. She is very knowledgeable and she is an expert in complicated situations like my own-- I had multiple radial keratotomy surgeries in the past (before laser Lasik was available) to correct pretty severe nearsightedness and I have abnormally deep retinal cups, which could indicate normal pressure glaucoma. She has been very attentive in monitoring the latter and, so far, I don't have any sign of glaucoma. She just performed my first cataract surgery and the entire process was smooth. She made it relatively easy and non-traumatic for my wife and me to go through... and that for a surgical procedure! Dr. Murphy's the best!

Dr. Murphy is by far the best ophthalmologist I've visited.
Dr. Murphy takes time to describe all the procedures and what to expect. Her practice seems more homey and less like a factory than other eye clinics. Her assistants are all courteous and well-trained. She was very reassuring and concerned that I end up with the best treatment for my vision needs.

I can see again.

Excellent Physician
Dr. Murphy and her office team was exceptional. Dr. Murphy diagnosed the cataract in my left eye; she explained my medical options and quantified the cost of the treatment.
The surgery was painless and quick. I entered the surgery center at 630 AM and was home by 1130 AM. The day after surgery I could read, drive my car and watch TV.
I will be using Dr. Murphy the future.

Excellent care for cataracts
Dr. Murphy performed cataract surgery on both eyes two weeks apart. She installed a Toric acrysofiq implant lens to correct an astigmatism. A basic lens in the other eye. Consequently I no longer need glasses except for reading. The pre-op and post-op care was very thorough.

Always professional and friendly
I have been seeing Dr. Murphy for several years. Recently, I had to have a cataract removed by Dr. Murphy. The entire operation from check-in to walking out the door was fantastic. All the staff at the facility really went out of their way to keep you informed of what to expect and what they were doing. At the follow-up visit the next day, Dr. Murphy took the time to make sure she heard any concerns I had and answer my questions without hurrying. She does this every time I see her, even for a routine visit.

Felt genuinely cared for by staff & Dr. Murphy
Have been seeing Dr. Murphy for about 2 years now. She assisted me in making a beneficial decision about cataract surgery. In fact just weeks after the surgery my eye sight has improved to the point I don't need to wear glasses. And, my problems with driving at night have virtually disappeared.
