Absolutely made a difference in improving quality of life
Up front- the procedures Dr Mulvaney did had a significant and measurable effect on my levels of agitation and PTSD anxiety. Immediately after the SGB I felt calmer, relaxed, and less agitation than I had in years; in ways that neither medication nor counselling were able to achieve. I learned of Dr Mulvaney and the SGB procedure from two fellow veterans who had the procedure done. Dr Mulvaney saw me quickly, very clearly explained the process and the potential results, and I was very comfortable during the entire process from pre-discussion through post procedure and follow up. It is very obvious how devoted he is to getting his patients the treatment they need and that it works for them, and he continued to follow up with me to ensure that it worked for my specific case and needs.

Best Doctor, Best Possible Outcome
I had bone marrow stem cell injections into 2 lower disks - Dr Mulvaney carefully and thoroughly diagnosed the injury and provided options. I am 2 1/2 months post procedure and back to moderate exercise. Prior I could barely exercise due to severe back pain and also had sexual dysfunction - which has completely resolved itself and then some! I tell everyone I know to see Dr Mulvaney - he is simply the BEST

I am honestly saying that this SGB procedure works! If you suffer from PTSD and depression the treatment provided by Dr. Mulvaney is a proven remedy. I would like to thank him and his staff for helping me with making this difficult time in my life change for the better.

100% positive experience
After six and half months after my injection (sept 10, 2019) almost every day has seen me in a better place than I ever was since 2007. Over 12 years of misery, darkness, anxiety and depression is easier to deal with and loving it. This is NOT a cure for PTSD or anxiety or depression but without it, the number of Veterans Suicides will never change. I truly feel as a founder of Silent Watch, Veteran Suicide Awareness, that this really could lower the numbers. Huge warm shout out to Dr. Mulvaney and his staff.

mentally calming
Dr is very personable. he sits down and talks with you like you are a family member. he explains everything that will and could happen with the procedure. talks to you all the way through. the staff was super nice and helpful in every step of the process.

Prolotherapy
I had sharp shooting pains in my left knee after a 5 mile race, As a runner, I immediately thought I had a tear. I was referred to Dr. Mulvaney by my physical therapist. He identified the problem and recommended prolotherapy. I noticed an immediate difference after my first treatment and continued to make excellent progress without needing invasive procedures. I would highly recommend Dr. Mulvanvy's services and prolotherpy!

Dr. Mulvaney really made this seamless. No pressures, no judgement, extremely skilled. Pair that with the procedure, I don't know what to say. It is like shedding a ruck and all your battle rattle. This is the miracle so far. I can't believe it. Thank you isn't enough.

The SGB gave me my life back.
Dr. Mulvaney was very thorough and caring as he was performing the procedure. He talked me through each step of the way and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I felt the effects instantly wash over my entire body. I could literally feel the tension in my body being released. It was a cascade of relaxation that flowed from my neck down to my toes. The following day I felt it even more. My mind was clear and quiet. There was no guilt, no regret, no worry, no anxiety. I was able to focus more because I didn't have all of the noise going on in my head. Problem solving became easier. I stopped forgetting things like my keys, wallet, etc. I was able to connect with people again, my spouse, my family, my coworkers. I was more patient with people. I didn't get angry any more. It made me more compassionate and caring, and less self absorbed in my own traumas. The SGB made all the demons pack their bags, and move out. It made me feel "normal" again and it saved my life.

Painless and very professional
The procedure was explained in simple terms. Throughout the procedure Sean let me know what was happening and talked me through each step. I immediately felt the relaxation both mentally and physically. It is the most effective treatment I've tried.

PRP on shoulder for torn rotator cuff.
Dr. Mulvaney administered PRP on my torn rotator cuff. I am a helicopter pilot for DC Metro Police and I road race motorcycles as a hobby. My shoulder was causing me a lot of pain both at my job and in my daily life. Dr. Mulvaney was not the first doctor I saw about this, but he was the one to correctly diagnose the problem and fix it. It has been over a year since my last treatment for the shoulder and it is doing great! I have no pain when flying, riding or lifting and doing daily workouts or activities. I am a huge fan of Dr. Mulvaney and trust him 100% when I have other issues.

Top Notch, Dr. Mulvaney is the best in the business.
I would highly recommend the SGB to anyone dealing with bouts of anxiety and or post-traumatic stress, it will set you free. As a veteran I have had many friends/co-workers undergo SGB treatment and have known about it for sometime. I put off the procedure for far to long for reasons I still cannot explain. If you are on the fence don't be you are in hands of the best at RSOM.

I feel better than I have in almost 12 years
The procedure was less than 5 minutes. I was nervous thinking someone was going to stick a needle in my neck, but they used ultrasound to avoid any issues with veins or other nerves and I felt a little pressure but no pain at all. The doctor and all the staff were very professional and the area was very clean. I would highly recommend this to anybody suffering from PTSD.

A skeptic turned believer!
Though I had read that this procedure had worked for many, I was concerned that it wouldn't work for me. I flew across the country to visit Dr. Mulvaney's clinic for the SGB procedure. Even as the procedure began, I questioned, should I really be here? And within just a few minutes the answer was a resounding yes! I should be here. Like many, I'd struggled with the effects of serious and life altering events. For the first time in many years, my thoughts are clear and pressures alleviated!

Relief!!! This is worth looking into!
After years of dealing with PTSD and Chronic Pain with many different therapies, countless doctor visits, 17 surgeries, almost every medication out there & the list goes on and on. With lots of research online and trying to find answers I found out about Dr. Mulvaney & his procedure of Stellate Ganglion Block. I am writing this review just minutes after receiving it. I now have such a sense of calmness and relief of pain, stress, and anxiety only minutes after the procedure. I am looking forward to seeing how this continues to help me in my daily activities. As a Veteran myself, I know their are others out their like me searching for help. Please take that step and reach out to his website and office for research of how this procedure can help you!! Extraordinary experience
Rarely do you meet a doctor who really spends time with you and genuinely cares. Dr. Mulvaney exceeded my expectations from the beginning of the appointment to the end. Staff were very kind and supportive throughout procedure as well. Can't thank you enough!!!

Not enough words of Gratitude
3 Combat tours as a truck driver, I thought after counseling, "This is as good as it get's." I always felt angry and tense. And then I found Dr. Mulvaney. SGB gave me my life back helped me to find the person I was before combat before, everything that happened.
Before I had trouble defining how I felt. Now I feel normal and the only problem I have is... describing how grateful I am to have found SGB and Dr Mulvaney.
If you suffer from PTSD do yourself and your family a favor and do it, get SGB take back your life and find the you from before.

the procedure for the block injection in my neck was easy
the process was simple and very well explained . after the shot i was relaxed and had a feeling of calmness that has been absent for over ten years since my deployment to iraq. i would highly recommend coming here and having the procedure

Do it!!!
I could go on and on for days about the kinds of improvements I've experienced in my life since getting the SGB shot! My PTSD changed my personality. You can only avoid so many family outings, social gatherings, and days of work before people start noticing you're not yourself anymore! Ever since getting the SGB shot I feel like myself again. The shot wasn't the cure-all for my problems, but it was the foundation of allowing me the energy, inner peace, and pure contentment to allow me to work on things in my life in the way that I haven't been able to for so long. Extremely grateful for Dr. Mulvaney and his helpful team! Dr. Mulvaney takes his time so ensure you know everything about what he's doing before, during, and after he's done it. At no point did I feel pressured, scared, or worried. The procedure was so minor but its impact was HUGE!

Amazing
I saw Dr Mulvaney on 60 minutes and decided to try it. I was cautiously optimistic and pleasantly surprised with the outcome. His bedside manner is the best I've ever had. He tells you everything he is going to do before he does it. From the staff to the music everything is perfect. I would suggest anyone that is even considering it to just do it. The results have been amazing.

Found out about Dr. Mulvaney from a fellow Veteran. Contacted them and had the whole process explained. During the procedure everything is talked through. There is a real level of care here. I wish I would have had this done sooner.

how to avoid surgery
i have a very arthritic toe. it made it hard to walk, and it just hurt all the time. Orthopedists said i would have to have surgery. I said no because everyone i know who had foot surgery was not happy - very long recovery, painful, still problematic. PRP is fantastic. No surgery, walking and other activities are no problem. At most it can be a wee bit sore sometimes, but not enough to be bothersome, and nowhere near the pain before the PRP. I'm very happy with my toe.

So glad I found Dr. Mulvaney
I came to Dr. Mulvaney having stage 4 arthritis in my left hip. I was told by my orthopedic surgeon that I would need a replacement. Three months after Dr. Mulvaney performed a stem-cell procedure, I am greatly improved. Pain level way down, range-of-motion greatly improved, mobility vastly improved. I am seeing a path to avoiding surgery. The coming months will tell. Let the healing continue!

A return to activity
Dr. Mulvaney performed a BMA injection on my left knee after years of pain, multiple surgeries, and ongoing PT. 12 weeks post procedure, I'm pain free and excited to return to the activities I haven't done in years. Thanks Doc!

A def must for any Veteran
If your tired of feeling like everything you go thru isn't going the way that it needs, then you def need to be here! Instantly there is a huge weight lifted and it feels like life has been taken off your shoulders. I would def recommend any veteran with PTSD to follow the road to Dr. Mulvaney.

When your looking for the best tool to combat PTSD this is it!!!
When you are tired of all the medications and tired of living the dark life us veterans deal with after combat then you need to see Dr. Mulvaney. I have been 15 years dealing with the daily battles of my demons and not once did I feel like I could get ahead of it! I came in Feb 20th and received my Stellate Ganglion Block! I have relief by the time I left his office! Best I've felt in 15 years!!!

Someone finally cleaned the glass.
I have been looking through this window with disturbing, unpleasant, unwanted images for so long, I forgot what was behind the glass. Dr. Mulvaney stepped and and cleaned the glass. So simple. I can see what I have been missing. I thought it was all gone.

Night and Day Experience
I originally came to Dr Mulvaney at a 76 on the PCL5 Scale and the improvement was night and day immediately for me. I currently have had a second SGB to continue the improvement of my Chronic PTSD. I have improved 36 points, only 2 months after having the Stellate Ganglion Block procedure. I would highly recommend this procedure to anyone suffering with PTSD. It has improved my quality of life tremendously! I am so thankful to Dr. Mulvaney for his attentiveness to my needs and helping me overcome my PTSD.

I took a chance that this procedure might help me.

A peaceful experience
Dr. Mulvaney was absolutely wonderful in explaining the entire procedure and he allayed my fears completely. I was very nervous beforehand and the procedure was completely painless and less invasive than having blood taken. I was able to watch the whole procedure and that helped so much. The doctor's bedside manner gets 5 stars! His concern and desire to help was so refreshing!
