Compassionate, informative, and effective care from Dr. Mulvaney and staff
As a veteran, I was seeking treatment for PTSD and anxiety that extended beyond what was available to me through the VA healthcare system. I found Dr. Mulvaney after hearing about the success he was having using SGB to treat individuals with PTSD. I hesitated to contact his office, thinking it would be a long, arduous process to get approved for treatment. To the contrary, I received a reply to my email request within 24 hours and was told I was a candidate for SGB and that funding was available to me. I only waited about 2 weeks for my appointment and everything from my initial contact with Dr. Mulvaney's office to the follow-up after my procedure was superb. Dr. Mulvaney and his staff were compassionate, informative, and both listened and spoke to me with patience and true concern for my well-being. Regarding the procedure, I immediately felt relief and, for the first time, am hopeful that I have found a durable treatment for my PTSD and anxiety.

Ground Breaking Treatment
I train BJJ and had a very bad muscular back injury that kept me out of the game for nearly a year. After 9 months of physical therapy that was not fixing the problem I was beginning to lose hope. I had a recommendation to see Dr. Mulvaney from a military friend and after 3 Prolotherapy treatments my back is back to 100%. I have since sent several friends to be treated for various sports injuries and we all agree that there is no other place like this. Thank You!

Amazing Experience
Dr. Mulvaney is very knowledgeable in SGB and trustworthy. I would recommend him to anyone that is struggling with PTS. I learned about him through Joe Rogan's Podcast with Dakota Meyer and the basics of SGB. Highly advise anyone to utilize this treatment because it works. Just know that there is someone there to help and that you are not alone in this process. Dr. Mulvaney is there to help.

Amazing experience, I did not know that I could feel this good
Dr. Mulvaney and staff were extremely professional, clean, accommodating, and the setting is extremely calming.

Doc Mulvaney provides a life changing procedure for Veterans struggling with emotional, mental and invisible wounds.
I first received a SGB in 2014 and have had 4 in total from Doc Mulvaney. Each procedure was successful and with each one the benefits lasted longer. I have had many teammates and friends that have saved their marriages, finances and jobs by Doc Mulvaney and the SGB procedure. With my experience, I was noticeably more relaxed, not as angry at the people I loved, found things I liked to do again, and did not have the many bad thoughts I experienced daily. This procedure needs to be readily available for Veterans in order to save lives and provide a healthy quality of life.

I am a retired Navy special operations veteran, and have known Dr. Mulvaney since 2008. As a veteran with PTSD, I know all too well the dark struggles people have with this injury. I have received the SGB treatment twice. Dr. Mulvaney's treatment gave me my life back. It gave me the ability to have relationships with my family and friends again. Life Changing. I feel an order of magnitude better.
SGB for PTSD/childhood trauma. Dramatic reduction of anxiety, startled responses, and hyper-vigilance. I have taken my anxiety medicine (Lorazepam) from 5 pills a day to 1 pill a day. My pyschatrist of 7 years is amazed/pleasantly surprised with my change. Next step is to reduce / omit the limitrogene/Limictol medication.
Prolo Treament: My neck pain has been significantly reduced - by ~90 percent. I have been in pain for years - taking as much as 2400 mg a day of Ibuprophen. Now I take none. It is a remarkable treatment.

Definitely a game changer for my life!
I traveled 600 miles, one way, to have the SGB injection 1 year ago and did very good. It was definitely worth it!!!!! I noticed an immediate relief and for the first time in so long, I could really breathe & relax. I came back to Dr. Mulvaney for another treatment recently because a few months ago I began to feel that heavy weight of EVERYTHING coming back. In the last year I have been a better husband, dad, son, and person over all. I have felt like a real person again. I did not think that was possible anymore. Initially, I was skeptical but had done everything possible through the VA & gave up hope. I have been on so many different medications from the VA, I have lost count. Before my injection last year, I was on 12. Currently, I am on 3. Dr. Mulvaney takes the time to explain everything to you and double checks that you are aware of what is going on. His staff is polite, friendly, & informative. I can say without a doubt, if I was to need another procedure, I will be back.

Life changing
When I first came to Dr. Mulvaney, I was using a walker or a cane. I injured my knee and had surgery on it. The surgery did damage to my knee. I was in bad shape, unable to do minimal daily chores around the house or care for myself. Dr. Mulvaney prescribed a series of shots, PRP, over a period of three months. I saw great improvement in my mobility and quality of life. We, Dr. Mulvaney and myself, decided to do one more PRP shot and after 7 weeks my quality of life has tremendously. I am able to walk my dog, ride a stationary bike, clean the house, and care for myself with little pain. I believe over time this I will see more improvement. I came in hopeless and am in such a better place thanks to the path he paved for me. I would highly recommend Dr. Mulvaney. He listened, made a plan, and executed it with awesome results.

I wish I would have heard about SGB sooner!
Absolutely worth your time to learn about the SGB. Dr. Mulvaney was extremely patient and explained the procedure in a way that someone who has very limited medical experience would understand. I have been dealing with PTSD progressively over the last 10 years and I thought that it was just something that I was going to have to live with for the rest of my life. I am an Army Vet who served 8 years and I spent 3.5 of those years in Iraq and Afghanistan. When I got out in 2005 the PTSD was obvious but didn't really start to effect me until 2010. It got worse and worse to the point where it cost me huge family issues along with not being able to preform my job. PTSD is a real issue and especially in the Veteran community. Within 10 minutes following the SGB I could feel relief. I could feel the tension in my chest lowering and it felt like someone was turning down my heart rate back to a normal pace. I would encourage any vet that is dealing with any sort of PTSD to reach out for help.

Such Relief of long term anxiety
Dr. Mulvaney is the authority, the best provider, in the SGB procedure for my PTSD and depression. I had my first SGB with him 11 months ago and experienced a great release of my symptoms for approximately 5 months, relief noticed by close friends and family. Then something kept triggering my PTSD and I slowly lost the relief of the SGB with return of symptoms. I just had my second SGB now, September, and I am very glad I did. The relief was felt quickly and I am so grateful to have learned about the SGB and of Dr. Mulvaney, and sincerely recommend him, and this painless procedure, to my fellow veterans who may be living with and suffering daily from PTSD. It is the only thing that has made a difference in my ability to be my old self and enjoy life again.

Excellent, professional, personal care with a positive outcome.
Dr. Mulvaney was extremely professional with a very detailed narrative of the procedure and reassurances during the procedure. He gave positive feedback throughout the procedure and gave me ample time to ask and receive answers to any concerns that I voiced. Afterwards, he checked on my progress many times and again gave me feedback as to what I would be noticing going forwards. I am extremely grateful that I was able to find the answer to the relief of my constant Panic Attacks and only wish that I had known of this procedure many years ago as it would have saved me many years of pain and suffering. So glad for my new lease on life!

LIFE CHANGING...
I don't even know where to begin... As a law enforcement officer with more than 25 years on one of the largest agencies in the country, I've experienced some heart-breaking and personal tragedies (job-related). These many events over the course of my career have not only impacted my "work life" but my home life as well. When I heard about the Dr. Mulvaney and the SGB procedure, i have to admit, I was skeptical. I've been living with deep-seated issues that affect my friends and family. I made the trip out to ROSM, and it changed my life. It's hard to put into words the nearly immediate change in my mood, anger, anxiety, etc. I know we're all supposed to be tough, hardened professionals, but there is no need to suffer, to lose relationships, to have anxiety, and sleep deprivation. I'm eternally grateful to Dr Mulvaney and his professional staff for this truly incredible treatment. I cannot recommend this procedure highly enough.

The constant weight you never knew you has came off of your shouldlders
I have been a paramedic for 10 years, i have been through therapies, medications, rehab, and substance abuse, legal troubles and everything i have tried has worked to a point. Sometimes you feel like you have done everything and nothing will work or never feel good. This simple procedure .. zero words can describe it, 20 mins has done more than years of trying to figure my own head out. Its quick and it works. Instantly you relax and it feel like the weight of the world is off your shoulders. Its a feeling that you dont or cant understand until you do it. Amazing. I am so appreciative that my family has found this man. Also that this doctor took the time to do it.

Compassionate, skillful care, alternatives that are more natural alternative sa
I have had neck pain for years and then headaches began. My earlier experience with cortisone was not a good one. Dr Mulvaney was the first physician to offer an alternative approach that I felt comfortable with. Treatments were very exact, he can see exactly where the needle is going which reassured me. Recovery was simple and easy and I am feeling and sleeping so much better than before prolotherapy. Cannot say enough about the personnel and the care in this office. Before doing anything drastic, cutting, it is worth your while to visit Dr Mulvany.

Easy and enjoyable
I laughed through the procedure as Dr.Mulvaney told numerous jokes. It was simple and virtually painless. He explained what he was doing and announced everything as he went along. I feel a lot better and I am finally able to be calm. It was overall a great experience and I, somehow, was able to enjoy having shots in my neck. Life Changing
Dr. Mulvaney is a very compassionate professional provider that really understands the debilitating affects of PTSD. The Stellate Ganglion Block that he performs has improved my life in ways that medications and traditional therapy has never been unable to do. I have more energy now to exercise, my panic attacks have reduced drastically in number and severity. I can manage them using my therapy techniques instead of debilitating me. I am a Firefigther/Paramedic with atypical PTSD and have gone through 3 therapists, 2 psychiatrists, and 2 psychiatric hospitals. I wish I had had the Stellate Ganglion BLock a lot sooner. This procedure has helped me become a better mother to my 2 young children and I am able to be present, more relaxed, and engaged in life. I finally can laugh and feel joy. My mental sharpness and memory has improved so much that I can finally multitask and live in the present. I have also been able to taper down on some of my medications as well, which has been exciting

I've never been treated so well

I was comfortable and informed throughout my care
I came in wringing my hands, my legs were bouncing up and down. I didn't notice at first until Dr. Mulvaney asked me how I was doing mentally. I was nervous and hopeful, more nervous. Dr. Mulvaney explained to me what was happening every part of the procedure and even had me laugh a couple times as he shared personal anecdotes. I felt no pain during the procedure. Dr. Mulvaney was diligiant ensuring that the block took. For this and everything else I am greateful.

Dr Mulvaney rasied the bar
Pre-PTSD when someone asked how I was doing, I would say fine. I meant it; physiologically fine. Post-PTSD, that description no longer fit. It felt deceptive to use it. I found a new term. Normal. It was perfectly accurate because I felt what had become the usual, normal. Unfortunately, I found most people required an explanation. Something they weren't entitled to. I had to lower my benchmark for "fine". Dr. Mulvaney's procedure reset my benchmark to its former level. He raised the bar for me.

2nd Visit - Another great experience
I had the SGB performed in May of 2020. I had received very good results and cut my PCL-5 score down from 70+ to 35. I decided to get a second injection to see if I could further lower my score and improve my symptoms.
The attention to detail and patient focus is second to none. Do not hesitate to have this done if you are dealing with PTSD. It's done more for me in a few months than years of rehabs, counseling and meds.

Dr. Mulvaney provided a clear explanation of his diagnosis and the proposed treatment, and delivered results.
I was referred to Dr Mulvaney from a therapist for pain and nerve issues in my shoulder and neck. I was unfamiliar with the Prolotherapy suggested by Dr Mulvaney, but his plan of action eliminated the pain and returned the sensation to my hand and arm in the time frame we discussed. Very happy to chose this therapy over surgical alternatives.

A Satisfying experience that met all expectations
He was very patient and caring, explained my condition clearly. I had pain moving my neck consistantly and limited range of motion. The treatment of prolotheopy was an excellent choice for me. I wanted the most natureal healing process and that is what I experienced.

From beginning to end, Dr. Mulvaney and his staff show amazing empathy and an interest in bringing about not just a "get you better enough" fix, but a return to total health. After my first visit, Dr. Mulvaney called me personally to check in on how I was doing - three times! unheard of in the medical profession. The treatments, both the Stellate Ganglion Block and the prolotherapy have produced very positive and measurable improvement. IMPROVED QUALITY OF LIFE
I know you're thinking "she must be kidding.." I'm not. Super serious. I had recently been diagnosed with (hypermobile) Ehlers Danlos Syndrome--had a soccer injury to my knee in college that was unknowingly caused by it too. That injury led to 3 knee surgeries, and after a ton of muscle atrophy, I was limping constantly. My knee cap was no longer tracking right due to my stretched ligaments and nothing seemed to help! ENTER ROSM & PROLOTHERAPY! I can walk, I can run, I can hike! I feel like I have a new knee! Thank you Dr, Mulvaney!!!
